Hmmm maybe not completely raw...
AMENDMENT NUMBER 3
Fish is OK.
Yes I know, I'm gettin' pretty far away from raw, but I decided that I'm doing more of a healthy/raw lifestyle now... for thirty days... or... three weeks.
So I really felt like cooking something beyond that 118 degree rule. I had some great cod fish in my freezer so I spiced it up with some Cajun seasoning and salt - put that in the pan with a little extra virgin olive oil for about twenty minuets on medium. Now for the salad...
First, start with your base, fresh mixed greens.
Second, chop up some kale. Why chop it you ask, well it normally (and should) come in big leaves, to big to actually eat so chop them up to normal size. Kale is REALLY good for you and it usually doesn't come with your mix greens, be sure to add it (unless you really dislike this specific leaf - don't ruin your meal for the sake of extreme health).
Third chop up half a cucumber. Make sure first to cut once down the length of the cucumber and then begin your normal chopping. The reason? this way you get have circles instead of whole ones which are harder to eat.
Fourth, chop up some celery, thinner is better you don't want big chunks of celery in your salad it's just annoying.
Fifth, sprinkle on some feta cheese and toss.
Finally, for the dressing, mix together in a bowl with a fork: balsamic vinegar, normal olive oil, and curry spice. Pour that over your salad as needed
Tada! Yur done!
ttyl,
Jack
