Green Drinks


If your one of those people like me who has a hard time getting all of those greens in, you need to make some green drinks. Get yursef a blender and throw in everything and anything green (food that is). This concoction contains the following:

  • 2 cups of water
  • 3 big leafs of kale
  • 1 big handful of spinach 
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 apple
  • 1 orange
  • modest handful of hazelnuts
  • modest handful of almonds
  • 1 table spoon of honey
This actually made more than I was originally anticipating and will have plenty left over for lunch tomorrow. Thats right, this is a complete meal, the nuts are crucial to fulfilling your appetite and keeping you from hunger for at least four hours... theoretically. 

You know what they say, "One green drink a day keeps the doctor away."
